Since 1980Paul Holcombe the owner of HDL started his painting career with his father Ray Holcombe and once his training was complete, he started out on his own, forming his own company in 1976 called Holcombe Decorators Ltd, later this was abreviated to HDL the painting professionals. Paul realised early on that he needed a great team to complete some of the bigger work that he was pricing and he realised the importance of having reliable, honest, skilled and client friendly team members.

In 1984 Mike Evans joined Paul and to this day Mike is still a crucial part of the team. Mike is from the UK and has learnt some of his skills from his father too.

A little colour has changed Joan Ghest's life.
Her kitchen was repainted professionally and decorated with flowers.
She was also taken out for lunch.
A grateful Mrs Ghest says getting the free renovation was a big relief because her husband is in a resthome and she has been maintaining her house and garden herself...
